121- What do you do when you're treated unfairly?

I had wireless internet services installed in my home.
They didn't work.
After 4 days of having the company come look at it and still have no internet, I called to cancel my services.
I was told that I would have to pay a $200 early termination fee, despite the fact that the services never worked.
WHAT?
How is that fair?
Rather than argue, I simply hung up and called my law firm.
An attorney looked over the contract then wrote a letter to the company.
About a week later, I received a letter from the internet company congratulating me saying that I was in good standing with the company and that I had a $0 balance!
You can argue with Customer Service all day and get nowhere.
When your attorney writes a letter it goes to the legal department and the whole scene changes.
I got consultation, a document reviewed and a letter was written on my behalf, all at no cost above my monthly membership.
I love knowing my rights are protected and that I don't have to waste time arguing needlessly with people who don't care about my best interests.
