When was the last time you complimented someone?
A compliment can lighten someone's load and make their day better.
We really don't know what others are going through, therefore we must encourage rather than belittle.
We must lift rather than tear down,
Give compliments, not insults.
In the last year, people in the US have changed.
While the rest of the world is dealing with Covid in their own way, here in the US too many people chose to politize it, as if it only affects us.
It's part of the growing ME, ME, ME syndrome.
I hear and experience it over and over how people are less patient and quicker to anger.
On social media, people feel empowered more than ever to insult others at a level they would never consider if they were having a discussion in person.
Yesterday, I witnessed an uncomfortable and unnecessary exchange on LinkedIn.
It's time to STOP the profanity!
STOP accepting immaturity!
Call people out with kindness, not rudeness.
Each one of us can be a force for change in the way people treat each other.
There is greatness in each of us.
How do you react when you see someone being rude?
