Do you use LinkedIn as a business tool?

Why are you here?

The purpose of LinkedIn for me is to network professionally and engage people in my network.

Strong business relationships occur when people know, like, and trust each other, right?

How do you contribute to those aspects here on LinkedIn, or have you even give thought to it?

You can grow your network, post your content, share other people's content and get to know prospective referral partners.

This is not a sales network, at least not at first.

I do not assume that I will be selling anything to you.

I aim to connect you to others who may need your services or products.

Your purpose should be to introduce yourself, build relationships, and be an active part of your network as well.

How can you be active?

By posting original content, sharing other people's content, and introducing people to each other.

Set up zoom meetings to get to know the people in your network.

Get together for coffee with the people who are local.

You have to make LinkedIn work, otherwise, it's just another social media platform.

What is your purpose for being on LinkedIn?
