CEOs have teams whose jobs are to manage each division of the company so that it operates efficiently, right?

How can a CEO be sure their key employees put the needs of the other employees and the company over their personal needs?

There are employees who will prohibit beneficial services, products, and business relationships from coming to fruition if they think it will mean more work for them.

For example, the payroll person may perceive a new employee benefit to mean more work for themselves, even if those services are highly beneficial to the employees, and therefore object to onboarding anything new.

These practices can go unnoticed for years.

Too often, key employees won't take the time to educate themselves on new, more cost-effective, and advanced services/products because they don't have time and they think the status quo is working just fine.

If the top executives of the company rely solely on key employees to stay on top of trends, it could be years before they realize there are problems.

Meanwhile, other companies are keeping up with new trends, onboarding the right people and easily transitioning to the benefit of everyone.

As a C-level executive, are you sure your employees have your best interests at heart?
