I was reading an interesting post by Dale Dupree where he asked for comments and a vote on his poll regarding the reason people are in sales. https://bit.ly/3gm0769
The engagement was good and the comments were coming in.
THEN
Some guy posted a job listing!
Are you kidding?
How rude is it to interrupt other people's posts with unrelated material?
No one will respond to that person's outreach, if for no other reason than that the person lacks integrity.
I will not engage or do business with people who have no integrity.
Trying to sell your products or draw attention away from their content is like interrupting a conversation.
No one has time for that on LinkedIn.
People who post original content daily have taken the time and put thought into their content.
They don't deserve to have miners and other timewasters ruining their conversations.
Let's keep integrity on LinkedIn high.
It's bad enough that some business people feel the need to make unnecessary political comments, or sarcastic remarks when they don't like a post rather than provide intelligent feedback.
If you can't contribute to a conversation then don't. Just move on.
LinkedIn is a powerful tool for business owners in today's world, so let's keep it that way.
How do you react to people who are clearly out of line on your post or other people's posts?
