148 - Why are you afraid of failure?

It's actually not failure we fear.
It's the fear of scrutiny if and when others find out.
Many people want to "step out of the boat" and take a risk but they reduce the chance of succeeding because they lack faith in themselves to succeed.
They are too focused on keeping failure a secret.
People focus on the probability of failure rather than the possibility of success.
Imagine how different things would be today if Thomas Edison had given up.
Every great leader, scientist, inventor, and businessman knows what it means to fail.
Failure is the staircase to success.
We often think that people like Elon Musk, Bill Gates or so many others knew exactly what they had to do to succeed.
They had a vision and a desire but there was no manual on how to do what they did and continue doing.
You write the manual as you go.
As you fail, you learn, you write it down, then you try again.
Get that formula in your head, do it over and over, improving each time.
Fail and be proud of it, like a child learning to walk.
We fall down and we can get back up.
The fighter doesn't fail until he doesn't get back up, and even then, failure is only temporary unless he gives up.
Giving up is the ultimate failure.
Are you trying to succeed without others seeing you fail on the way?
