We like to say, don't make a sale for the day, gain a client for a lifetime.
Whether you call them clients, customers or members is beside the point; it's all about the way you treat them.
When you take care of your clients (members, in my case) they take care of you.
Yesterday, I reached out to one of my long-term members who has been with me for 11 years.
I sent him an email to see how he is doing, and to remind him about an incredible discount program that is part of his membership.
The member responded by inviting me to speak at his Rotary Club meeting via Zoom.
Don't underestimate your existing clients. They are one of your best sources for getting referrals and unexpected speaking engagements.
Don't be afraid to ask them if they know anyone who could use your services.
People love to help out where they can, and giving a referral doesn't require a lot of effort on their part.
Reach out to your clients today and belt them know how much you appreciate them.
Remind them of a benefit they may have overlooked in the services or products you provide.
How do you take care of your clients?
