I read an interesting post on diversity training at work, by @Greg Brenner.
It made me think about the company I work with and why I really love the work environment.
Then I realized that not everyone is so lucky.
Ultimately, it is a personal decision we make to love where we work.
I have seen people in the lowest of positions who are joyful every day to have a job.
On the other hand, you don't have to search for long to read about all of the disgruntled employees in the world.
There are people at the highest positions in their field who hate their jobs and the people they work with.
I love my company because of its diversity.
At its core, LegalShield is a Christian-based organization.
Every convention begins with the national anthems of the USA and Canada, followed by a prayer that always ends with, "In Jesus name, we pray...".
Yet our conventions are filled not only with Christians but Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, and many more.
There are people from every culture, background, age group, and level of education; and we all get along wonderfully!
What do you love about where you work?
