A client of mine had major renovation and repairs done to the tune of $375,000.
They finished the work and he paid the bill.
One would think that was the end of the story, right?
Wrong.
2 months later, he received another bill for an additional $60,000 for various things like additional materials, extra labor, a kitchen sink... you name it.
My client called the company and a dispute arose as the company was not willing to talk to him.
They demanded payment and threatened to sue him.
He ignored them until he received the papers in the mail that said he was being sued.
Luckily, my client has a legal protection plan through my company.
He called his provider law firm and they wrote a letter to the construction company and the lawsuit was dropped.
Bad things happen to good people.
Bad things happen more often to people who are not prepared.
We live in the most litigious society on Earth and people are suing others more than ever over frivolous matters because they can.
Having the ability to contact a top law firm whenever you need advice is priceless peace of mind.
How prepared are you for unforeseen events?
