189 - What was your most embarrassing business blunder?

I suppose most of us have made the mistake of sending a text message to the wrong person socially. 🙈

But, what about in business?

My most embarrassing moment was on a cold call.

I once left a voice message for a prospective client as if it was a dictated text. 😳

"Hi, 'Mr. Smith' comma this is Jane Lehman comma with LegalShield period..."

At that moment I realized what I was doing and knew there was no way out.

I stumbled and stuttered, all the while apologizing through my laughter before hanging up. 😅

📞 I immediately received a callback! ✅

😀Mr. Smith was laughing and said I made his day.

That wasn't exactly the way I intended to make anyone's day but I got an appointment.

That was a one-shot deal. I couldn't fake a call like that again.

We all have moments of being truly human as we go through our day playing our roles as serious and dedicated business people.

To err is human, right❓
