How transparent are you when it comes to your company's faults?

No company is perfect and knowing how to navigate past these areas is important.

I'm talking about how you handle communication deficiencies or incompetency in certain departments that arise from time to time.

Are the problems in your company so great that you have considered moving on?

Or, are you committed to the vision and mission of the company in a way that keeps you motivated?

In my case, I am completely committed to my company's mission to protect and empower everyone in North America with our comprehensive legal and identity theft services.

We empower everyone to get access to attorneys whenever they need them.

We aren't perfect but we are far better than the alternative for most people who are priced out of the legal system.

I recently had a new client who quickly became disillusioned, for several reasons that all happened at once.

In the 12 years with my company, I had never experienced a circumstance like this.

The client knew that I had done everything I could to help out, but she felt it had been a waste of her time and she wanted to move on.

I understood her position and helped her cancel her services.

What I learned from this situation is how strong my commitment is to this company.

What happens to one client does not define the whole company, nor does it mean our services don't work.

Be transparent about your company's shortcomings when they happen and deal with them immediately.

Don't blame the client or try to make excuses; today, the world is full of lame excuses.

The best way to handle a negative situation is to deal with it quickly and efficiently, learn from it and then make sure it doesn't happen again.

How do you handle a client's negative experience?

Are you transparent regarding occasional mishaps in your company?
