The average employee goes to work, clocks in, does their job, clock back out, and then goes home.
They may even have to clock out for lunch.
This cycle repeats itself for 40 years or so.
How does the saying go? You buy gas, so you can go to work, so you earn money, so you can buy gas to go to work... You get the idea.
Some of these people even reach higher levels within a company, but only a few reach the top C-level salaries.
Then there are the people who step out of the workforce to embark on their own path by starting their own business.
Starting your own business is not for the faint of heart.
Some people start from scratch with a unique idea or services.
Others buy into a franchise, join a network marketing company, partnership in a joint venture, or other types of business.
I had the amazing privilege to play in a symphony orchestra which is a different type of job experience but I wasn't fulfilled.
I knew didn't want a boss. I tried that once and only lasted 1 1/2 years before realizing it was sapping my energy and only building the owner's fortune.
I chose a path that some people are afraid of, for various reasons, despite the fact that it is a multi-billion dollar industry, the network marketing industry.
The company I chose to work with offers quality services at greatly reduced prices compared to the average in the industry.
My company has a Business Solutions division that is different from the traditional network marketing structure.
I am in business for myself but not by myself helping families, small business owners, their employees, and commercial drivers get access to their rights whenever they need them.
I love helping people every day.
Which path have you chosen for your business career, why and how did you get there??
