Are you aware that monitoring services are for credit fraud, which is only one type of identity theft?

Your medical information, driver's license, and social security number are not monitored except in credit-type situations.

If someone uses your medical information, will you know it?

If someone commits a crime and uses your driver's license as ID, will you know it? Usually, you won't know it until you get pulled over and learn there are bench warrants out for your arrest.

Ask the man who got a bill for the hysterectomy he supposedly had, or the active-duty serviceman fighting overseas who got a bill for gallbladder surgery he didn't have. The list goes on.

Monitoring services are of little value unless you have a comprehensive plan.
