Many people need background music or noise of some sort to help them concentrate.

I know people who leave their TVs running in the background all day long.

We have podcasts, Ted Talks, about anything you could wish for on Youtube.

In today's world, it seems that everyone has earbuds of some sort in their ears most of the time.

I like it completely quiet when I work.

After 30 years of being surrounded at work by violins, trumpets, woodwinds, tympani, cymbals, singers, and more, the sound of silence is golden to me.

There are so many different genres of music to choose from.
