No one is responsible for thoughts in your mind.
I woke up at 3 am with that thought.
I didn't ask for the thought, it simply woke me up.
I had Siri make a note, then I turned over and went back to sleep.
When thoughts occur that you didn't ask for what do you do? Do you believe every thought at pops up in your mind?
This subject is fascinating. Why isn't this taught at an early age?
How often have you heard terms like, "You make me so mad" or "I will be happy when..."
Here's a good one -"You make me crazy!"
Meanwhile, hundreds of times per day your mind is randomly telling you things that may or may not be true.
You didn't put them there, and SURPRISE, no one else put them there.
You can learn to control your thoughts. Until I was made aware of it, it had never occurred to me that this was possible.
We talk so much about not listening to other people's opinions, but what about our own?
We are our biggest saboteur because we believe that little, obnoxious, nagging, voice, until the day we learn that we can TURN IT OFF! (Can you hear the cheering crowd, the celebration, the music?)
It is so refreshing and enlightening the day you realize that you do not have to live with the randomness of your little voices. You can let them go!
Do you talk back to the voices in your head?
