🇺🇸🇨🇦 HAPPY LABOR DAY USA AND CANADA 🇺🇸🇨🇦
While most of us on LinkedIn are not "laborers", we all labor in some way.
Labor Day/ Labour Day became a federal holiday in the US and Canada in 1894 to recognize all workers.
We celebrate those looking for a job, currently working, and retirees.
We are thankful that safety standards have improved.
Men no longer walk across the beams of skyscrapers without protection.
I think of the people who once worked with heavy machinery or dangerous chemicals without any safety equipment.
We recognize the need for the safety of all workers in all industries.
Love them or hate them, labor unions were formed to protect laborers.
Today signifies the importance of everyone who works.
What do you think about when you reflect on Labor Day?
