Yesterday, my poll question was, Why do you connect on LinkedIn?
Here is the link to that post - https://bit.ly/2VFPVzf
The poll isn't over yet, but there is a definite trend on the answer.
Here are the results so far with almost 520 votes, at the time of writing this:
I don't know 4%
To sell my services/products 7%
Build business relationships 86%
Other (explain in the comments) 4%
What's interesting is that only 7 % of people say they are on LinkedIn to sell.
I'm still chuckling that 4% of the people do not know why they are here, but I digress.
If only 7% admit they are here to sell, why do we experience so many blatant salespeople?
Many are either lying, in denial about being "salesy" or they don't realize how they are perceived.
.
What percentage of sellers are there really on LinkedIn?
Why do you think only 7% of people say they are on LinkedIn to sell?
They lie about it
They are in denial about it
They don't realize how they come across
