You might be one of those people who adds new connections yet you never interact.


@LinkedIn is a business NETWORKING community. How can you network if you never interact?


Everyone you connect with knows hundreds of other people who could be potential clients. The same goes for your network.


You can't refer someone if you don't know who to refer them to.


Reach out to someone in your network and set up a time to chat either over the phone or on a virtual meeting.

I'm not just talking about prospective clients.


Who are a few people you have had an interesting conversation with or interacted with?

Were you able to help each other in some way?

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting 3 people for the first time.


@Fred Diamond traveled around the country meeting his LinkedIn connections. While he was in Texas, he came and had lunch with @Daniel Gomez, @David Walter, and myself.


I had never met any of these men in person yet we had a wonderful lunch together.

Fred Diamond is with the Institute for Excellence in Sales. He hosts excellent podcasts on interesting business topics.

David Walter is a cold-calling expert who wrote a book titled, The Million Dollar Rebuttal: Cold Calling is not a numbers game.

Daniel Gomez is an award-winning business coach and speaker who wrote the inspiring book, You Were Born To Fly.
