I write to you from Phoenix, Arizona today, where I'm attending a convention.
To see my colleagues face to face for the first time in 2 years has been a delight. It's inspiring to see and hear from those who have had incredible success.
Yesterday we had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Eric Thomas.
I had never heard of him before. I will never forget his name now. He is a powerful speaker.
The main theme of this convention and his keynote speech was "Developing the Whole YOU".
What we are learning is nothing new. It doesn't only apply to those of us here.
Whatever company you work for is irrelevant.
Look at how your company is structured.
It has a mission, a vision, and systems in place.
DO YOU?
You know exactly when you will be paid, right? Do you have an exact time you will pay bills?
Do you have time blocked on your calendar for prayer, reading, exercise, and other things that are important to you?
Are you taking time every day to develop the person you want to be so that you can become that person?
One thought spoke to me on a deeper level.
Dr. Thomas said, "You will die. The question is, will you live?"
You walk through this life once. How are you walking through it?
Who will you be when it's all over?
Do you take time to develop yourself?
