I sat down to write this post and immediately got sidetracked watching a bird outside my window.


It immediately came to me that I am not alone when it comes to distractions.


I got up, pulled down the blinds, and got to work. That distraction lasted 30 seconds but sometimes distractions take us completely off course.


Time wasted is time gone forever. Have you considered that?


They can print money but they can't print time.


You can change your mind, an appointment, or a tire but you can't change time.

We all have the same 24 hours, so what does it mean when someone says, "I don't have time."?


It's well known and often accepted that employees waste an enormous amount of time on their cell phones. If they are getting their work done, then maybe it's not an issue.


Imagine how much more we would all get done if we turned off all distractions for one or two-hour blocks and focus on our work.


How do companies assess the loss in revenue due to their employee's lack of focus?
