Most people identify identity theft with money and credit cards.
Consumers believe that online services and those they get through their bank, insurance company and even credit bureaus, are sufficient protection.
Most of those services are credit fraud related.
Credit fraud is one area of identity theft.
Only about 18% of identity theft can be monitored.
Let me repeat...
ONLY 18% of IDENTITY THEFT CAN BE MONITORED.
Your driver's license is not monitored. If someone uses your drivers license when caught committing a crime, it goes on YOUR RECORD.
But the worst cases I have heard of involved a people whose medical information had been used by an identity thief.
The worst type of identity theft:
A man whose medical information had unknowingly been changed by an identity thief.
His blood type had been altered on his record. When the man needed a blood transfusion, he was given the wrong blood type and, as a result, he died.
Identity Theft can be deadly and yet most people still don't get comprehensive protection.
Most people who have identity theft protection are not aware that they are not properly protected.
I'm here to advise and guide people. I'm not here to push services on anyone, just educate.
If you are not sure what you are paying for each month, I will review your services for you at no cost.
As a consultant. I help clarify so you understand what you have and can make better decisions.
Don't treat identity theft or cyber crime lightly.
It's growing and...
No one can prevent it.
What we can do is monitor, detect and restore you to pre-theft status.
Are you absolutely sure you have more than credit monitoring services?
