I recently misunderstood one of my connections' comments on my post.

I thought the person was interested in my services so I privately asked him. He said No, thank you.

GUESS WHAT? The world didn't end. It was all good and we still interact.

We cleared up is that he doesn't want my services. No harm done.

Someone refusing to buy from you does not make them a bad connection. You may still get value from their posts and interactions.

They may still refer you and you can certainly refer them.

It's easy to ask the question and it's easy not to ask. We often don't ask because we are afraid of the answer yet, by not asking you are giving yourself a silent NO.

Stop playing small. Stop taking the easy road to nowhere.

You can only grow your comfort zone by stepping out of it.

As Brian Tracey said, "Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new." - Brian Tracy

Don't give up on people.

Respect them.

Networking creates the possibility to communicate and grow business relationships.

Don't expect everyone to be your client. That's an unrealistic expectation unless you buy from every one of them as well.
