That is a question we all ask from time to time when life situations arise.

We turn to friends, family, neighbors, and social media.

However, these questions are often attached to a legal issue such as something consumer-related, an unfair traffic violation, or an insurance claim denial.

I see it asked on Facebook far too often.

Do people really believe they will get sound legal advice on social media?

Those answering are quick to give their opinions without knowing the full story.

They likely don't know the laws in the state in which the event took place.

Here in the US, we don't have it in our mindset to talk to attorneys for advice and consultation.

Our legal system is broken and we all know it. We believe only the wealthy can get advice before making important decisions.

Why don't people seek sound legal advice whenever they need it?
