314 - Have you ever had your breath taken away?

Last night I was headed to Marble Falls, Texas where I am working this week.

On the way, I passed through a small town called Johnson City.

The town was founded by the uncle of former President Lyndon B Johnson.

I had heard that the town has an impressive Christmas light display so, on a whim, I decided to check it out.

I arrived as the lights were being turned on.

It was absolutely breathtaking.

I had to share this with you all.

Sometimes it's those unplanned events that bring the most joy.

What I loved most about this detour was that the urge hit me just before I passed the town and was so strong I couldn't ignore it.

It took less than 10 minutes out of my journey and I'll be going back to take the time to see more.

DISCLAIMER - I had both hands on the steering wheel at all times and it was not until I watched the video that I saw how great it turned out.
