332 - Are you taking time to pause and celebrate?

I don't get to spend a lot of time with my family since we all live in different states.

It's always exciting to get together and be with them for the holidays.

Tonight we will have 22 people here for Christmas Eve

I love the hustle and bustle of Christmas. We are totally into it.

We're in the midst of the preparations, running back out for things we forgot, and wondering why so many other people are on the road as well.

Are they as forgetful as we seem to be?

YES!! It's all part of it. I wouldn't change any of it. This IS the celebration!

We even found some time to stop at my brother's favorite tavern for a beer and some laughs.

Then, it was time to get back home so we could all finish wrapping gifts, and work on the compulsory jigsaw puzzle.

We have something for everyone. You can watch a Christmas movie, help cook, wrap gifts, work on the puzzle, or lounge around sipping whatever your favorite beverage is and chatting with family.

Then there's the food. Everything is homemade. We don't skip corners.

From the Christmas cookies, homemade jams, a big Mexican feast tonight, and the Prime Rib on the grill tomorrow, everything is made with loving care.
