334 - What special character are you?

Have you ever considered all the special characters on your keyboard?

Each character has a meaning and specific purpose.

Most of them are the standard punctuation marks as we know them.

Sure, we all use them to fill in words we shouldn't be using like S*&# and F@>%.

Needless to say, that's not what this post is about.

Special characters clarify our written speech.

You could call them antique emotes.

Consider a simple phrase and how different the meanings are depending on the character used.

You're hungry! (as you gobble another cookie)

You're hungry?

Do you know what all the special characters mean? I've come across a few that left me wondering.

I remember feeling like a whole new world opened to me the day I learned how to get characters that aren't on my keyboard.

I finally found out that I didn't have to write out Euro €, trademark™, degrees °.

How about symbols like ʓ, ͽ, and Ϣ.

OK, maybe I'm easily amused but these could be game-changers, if I knew what they meant.

I'm actually fascinated with these special characters.

Until now, if I was asked about special characters, the first thing that came to my mind were bugs bunny, R2D2, and Olaf, to name a few...

For no other reason than to give you something to ponder, as you recover from overindulging in food and beverage the past few days, I ask the following question:
