Affirmations are a powerful tool.
The more I use affirmations the more convinced I am of their power to create incredible changes in my life.
Philosophers have been teaching the benefits of affirmations for centuries.
Affirmations are an exercise in belief; you affirm what you wish for and hold to be true in the future.
They are most effective when accompanied by the emotions you will feel when you reach the desired outcome.
Many successful people make affirmations a part of their daily routine.
Famous people like Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, Bill Gates, Denzel Washington, Tiger Woods, and others, too many to name, are supporters and practisers of daily affirmations.
One of the most memorable affirmations came from Mohammad Ali, I AM THE GREATEST!
He started proclaiming that affirmation long before he was great.
There are many excellent books on the subject, such as the classic, The Power of Positive Thinking, by Norman Vincent Peale, and The Power of Affirmations - 1,000 Positive Affirmations, by Louise Stapely.
Repeating positive affirmations, over time
Do you and your teams use affirmations when setting team goals?
Despite the history of affirmations, not everyone knows what they are or the benefits of using them.
They can be powerful motivators for yourselves as a team, and help teammates reach their personal goals.
