It's the beginning of a new year and my company is gearing up for a successful year.
I attended a regional training in Dallas this weekend, hence the late post.
It was exactly what I needed.
There is something wonderful about getting together with colleagues from several states who you only get to see once or twice a year.
It is more energizing to reconnect, take notes, and exchange ideas than to take a weekend off.
It's still the first month of the year. Why would we take a break when we've barely begun the year?
We have incredible incentives in place but that's not what excites me.
I love hearing our top producers sharing their stories and their expertise.
When I go to corporate events I do it with a purpose.
From traveling there, to the hotel stay and the event itself, I love to take it all in and experience each aspect of the trip.
I engage with people I meet and listen to every word the trainers say.
Much of it I have heard hundreds of times over the years but each person has their own way of delivering the information.
I returned home from Dallas with more clarity and sense of direction for my business.
How do you experience your training events?
