Many Americans are branching out to start their own businesses.
There's a lot to unpack when considering owning a business.
Still, most new business owners are not hiring an attorney, much less a law firm, to help them along the way.
The trend to business ownership is not new. But, as one wise person said, the pandemic accelerated the inevitable. The pandemic has sped up the trend.
We now find ourselves is an era of Great Transformation, and yes, resignation, as millions of people leave their jobs.
People are transitioning out of the workforce, taking their futures into their hands.
We have seen employees get burned by big corporations for decades.
Employees have worked for minimum wages while the top level executives enjoy multiple million dollar salaries and bonuses each year, all in the name of capitalism.
The once trusted security of 401Ks and retirement benefits disappeared over night; jobs have been slashed when things weren't going well for the companies. Employees are never a consideration.
Now, it has reversed and the employees are saying, "I'm not going to take this anymore".
We can give credit to the pandemic for opening the eyes of the multitudes of disgruntled employees.
New and existing business owners have a right to know the laws of their trade. They deserve to have the same access to the legal system as big corporations with in house attorneys.
Money is the only thing keeping small business owners from knowing their rights and getting the legal services they need.
The cost of accessing the legal system is off the charts, with good business attorneys costing $300 per hour and more.
Back in 2012, the President of the ABA (American Bar Association) admitted, the legal system is broken.
Anyone who has just started a business, whether as a network marketer, a franchise owner, an LLC or any other form of business should have legal resources available to them each step of the way.
WHY?
First, is the conversation about what type of business entity they should form.
There are questions, so many questions...
Then, there will be contracts and documents to sign.
How empowering would it be to have a law firm at your finger tips to have every contract reviewed before signing it?
Those who are purchasing a franchise often rely on the legal assistance of the company from whom they are purchasing the franchise. How does that even make sense?
Laws are changing. Every business owner needs to know what the laws are for their industry. Many have compliance laws they must adhere to.
There are issues regarding vendors/suppliers, employees, hiring and firing, customer related issues, and the threat of a lawsuit.
The list goes on...
I love helping small business owners get empowered and protected right from the get go.
I provide them the ability to access to a top rated law firm, not just one attorney, whenever they need it.
As a result, they are more grounded and can run their business knowing they have a law firm at their fingertips.
