Sometimes I think everything is going as planned.

Then, suddenly, like hitting a bump in the road, it all seems to fall apart.

It's so easy to look back and map what went wrong.

I would love to have the ability to see what's coming and avoid the bumps in the road, the unexpected setbacks.

How boring would that be?

If all we did was sore to the top and never hit a snag, we wouldn't learn anything along the way.

In my industry, I have seen 18 year olds reach the top levels in their first month.

I have seen a 23 year old receive $100,000 after only 6 months of being with the company.

In both of these cases, it wasn't long until these young people were gone. The magic wore off and they found out there is work involved.

Every industry has its exceptions. There are people who rise quickly to success without having worked hard to get there.

Usually that type of success doesn't last. It takes its toll in other areas of their lives.

Embrace the setbacks and the downfalls as necessary steps in the learning process to become successful.

I love Nelson Mandela's mindset, "I never lose, I either win or I learn".

The most important thing is not to quit.

Keep moving forward by learning from successful people, reading good books and staying active in your business.

When you hit a bump...think of it as a sign that there is something to be learned.

Life is amazing when you let go of the negative mindset and embrace everything that comes your way.

How do you feel when you experience setbacks?
