There is something powerful in being at an event with several thousand people learning from someone you respect.

I've had people tell me that they don't engage in those kind of seminars because it's like being with a herd of sheep.

As the guy said, "only sheeple go to those things".

I had to laugh considering that most people never read a book much less attend a seminar.

As Mark Twain said, "The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read".

If a seminar has 3,000-5,000 people attending it, there are millions who didn't show up.

So who are the sheep really?

Kenneth Blanchard also says it well, "When you stop learning you stop growing".

I have gotten great value from events with John Maxwell, Darren Hardy, and others.

I love our annual conventions because we always have phenomenal keynote speakers like Daymond John, Mel Robbins, John Maxwell, Jack Canfield and others. The list is long.

If you are considering following a mentor or attending a seminar of someone you admire, go for it!

Do not listen to the nay-sayers. They aren't interested in growing and they often believe they already know it all.

Do you have a favorite thought leader that you follow ?

Have you attended any business seminars to help you grow as a person and in business?
