I recently met with a new business referral partner, at least that's what my understanding was.

The young man showed no interest in my work and was solely focused on the amount of money he was planning on making this year.

He wanted me to get his solar company app on my phone so I would be able to send him referrals.

Nothing else interested him.

I wrote about this in another post how the young man told me that he reads his own contracts.

That's when I asked him, "Do you understand legalese?", and it was clear he didn't even know what the word meant.

We can all read our own contracts, but do we know the law and, more importantly, do we know the loop holes?

Here is a member testimonial that demostrates the power of having a qualified attorney working on your behalf.

“I went to my doctor to get a minor procedure done.

I knew my health insurance covered this procedure.

To my surprise, my health insurance billed me $362.

I called my insurance company and told the agent I should have been covered. She said I was not.

I asked for the contact information for their legal department. She said she’s worked as an agent for years and had never seen a letter work. I got the contact information anyway.

Now, if I’d written the letter, I’d probably be wasting my time, but I’d already spoken with my LegalShield lawyer about this situation after I’d uploaded my insurance policy for him to review and he wrote the letter on my behalf.

My lawyer did tell me that because I was in the middle of switching my health insurance there was a tricky loop to navigate, but he knew what to do.

A week and a half later, I got two letters in the mail.

The first letter was a hand-written apology from my insurance company; the 2nd was a reduced bill with my new balance of $6.00. - Another happy member

Just because you can read does not mean you understand the technical terms and specific wording in legal documents.

That's why it takes so many years of study and why not everyone passes the Bar Exam.

Attorneys don't have to be expensive to be good and they do a lot more than review contracts.

We may not like the cost but value is indisputable.

We all need attorneys.

LegalShield makes sure you can afford them.
