429 - Take a day off

We all have busy schedules that keep us tied to our work.

Now and then it's great to break away from the daily routine.

Yesterday was one of those days.

It doesn't mean you don't get anything done that's work related.

I was up early, wrote a post, followed up with a with clients and then shut down to spend time with my kids.

My daughter flew in from Colorado and my son flew in from Michigan to hang out for the weekend.

As long as they still want to hang out with MOM, I'm happy to take the time.

We spent the day scootering around Austin, Texas, discovering incredible restaurants and driving through the Hill Country.

It's great to step away to get new perspectives and ideas.

Step away and enjoy the day.
