2 years ago, the global Covid pandemic caught everyone off guard.
Being caught off guard was not the problem, the lack of resilience to handle sudden change was.
In America, we turned the pandemic into a political fiasco making it even more difficult than necessary to get under control.
Many people are not able to discern fact from fiction. That's why conspiracy theories thrive and there is confusion.
As the saying goes, a confused mind does nothing. We have a workforce returning that is fearful, anxious and bewildered.
People who lack of emotional intelligence (EQ) are filled with anxiety, so it's more important that ever to simplify processes.
As employees come back to work they need to know why they are working. It's never only about the money.
Everyone loves belonging to something bigger than themselves. Understanding the purpose of a company gives employees a sense of belonging.
When employees understand the mission and vision of a company they can set clear goals.
Simple does not mean easy. But, setting employees on a clear path with simple processes to get reach their goals will help the workforce get back on track more smoothly.
