Many people are getting back to meeting people face to face.
I often hear people say they are "zoomed out" and want to attend live events.
I felt that way for a while, until I realized I was shooting myself in the foot.
Over the past 2 years, Zoom has connected us all.
How quickly we forgot how happy we were to be able to meet virtually when live meetings were not possible.
We seem to be a collective community of complainers. Before the pandemic, people were tired of driving to live networking meetings every week.
I have gained clients from coast to coast and it all happened on zoom meetings. Why would I put aside a good system of meeting people and gaining new clients?
I see this "zoomed out" mentality as another distraction keeping people from getting work done.
Now that you can go to live events are you neglecting what you have built up on LinkedIn?
I prefer to go to a hybrid method of staying connected on LinkedIn and being active in my local market.
Even better, I am bringing my local market into my social media so we can all work together.
Networking is networking no matter where it's done.
How do you prefer to do business these days?
