There is so much conflicting information.
I hear all the time that email campaigns work .
So called "drip campaigns" are an effective way to get people to look at your services.
On the other hand, I hear everyone talking about how much they hate getting bombarded by email advertising also known as spam and junk mail.
Some of the people who complain about it are the same people who put you into their campaigns.
It's incredible how many people have put me into their campaigns without ever asking for permission.
I never put people into campaigns without asking for permission, if at all.
There is either a misunderstanding or lack of understanding on the part of those who put everyone into a campaign.
Email campaigns may work in the right environment but putting your Linkedin connections into campaigns is not the way.
I have trouble making introductions for people who immediately put me into a campaign. They will most likely do the same thing to the people I introduce them to.
If you don't appreciate getting so much spam mail, don't take part in sending such mail, without permission.
Have you ever clicked on emails from a campaign that lead you to buy?
Maybe it was particular subject lines that grabbed your attention.
If I clicked on every email I now receive from LinkedIn connections who put me into their campaigns, I would not get much else done during the day.
Do you approve of people putting you into a campaign without your permission?
