Are you on LinkedIn to sell your products or services?

No one wants to be labeled a salesperson, but if you answered, no, think again.

Every consultant, recruiter, analyst, coach, mentor, trainer, executive, advisor, observer and pretty much everyone else, are here to sell.

You are either selling your services, your products, business strategies or your opinions.

And that's GREAT!

Stop being afraid of the word "Sales".

I'm on LinkedIn to provide services to my ideal client and help others connect with the right people for their business.

Not everyone I meet is my ideal client, but I can educate and help others find what they are looking for.

Most small business owners haven't budgeted for one of the most vital resources every business owner needs,

Yes, I sell those services and I provide my clients with service long after the sale.

Nor is everyone your ideal client.

If you are on LinkedIn believing that everyone needs what you have, it's time to consider who your ideal client is and focus on that.

Bring value to others first and the sales will come, that's how it works.

For those who are on here promoting their services/products right out of the gate, reconsider what you're doing.

Time a little extra time to get to know people first.

When people see how much you care they will respond.

Theodore Roosevelt said it best, "People don't care how much yo know until they know how much you care".

That's not just a famous quote, it's true.

Be proud of whatever it is that you do and do it well.

Let's us know what and who you are looking for on LinkedIn so we can help you find it.

Engage with your network. Help connect them to the right people for them.

If we all did that, we would never lack for ideal clients.

Today marks the beginning of National Small Business Week.

Happy New Month and Happy new week.

Reach out and connect people this week!

Who would you like to be connected to?
