Do not turn a blind eye to cyber crime and identity theft.
It makes no difference whether you are a business owner, an employee or unemployed and living under a rock.
Identity theft does NOT discriminate. From new borns to our deceased loved ones, identity thieves will strike.
OH, and for those of you saying, "They can take my identity, I don't have any credit", IDENTITY THIEVES LOVE YOU!
Why?
Because they know you aren't watching your credit or your personal information.
Identity thieves will scam you and your loved ones right under your noses, if you aren't paying attention.
This is not only about your money. Thieves can get you sent to jail for crimes they committed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CASE IN POINT:
A gentleman in Michigan got pulled over one Friday afternoon as he left the hospital where he worked. The police officer arrested him because there were 7 bench warrants out for his arrest. Those crimes were committed by an identity theft who had used the mans' driver's license information.The innocent man spent the weekend in jail because he didn't have the means to get an attorney on the spot. He had to wait until Monday morning.
As a result, that hospital now offers their clients LegalShield and IDShield to their employees. If anyone gets pulled over like that again, and they have LegalShield, they will have an attorney on the spot 24/7.
They can also kill you by changing your medical information without you knowing about it.
This post is not meant to scare you. It's meant to wake you up!
