487 - 🇺🇸Gratitude and Remembrance 🇺🇸

Today is a day of reflection.

Some people attempt to make it about politics and controversy.

But here in the US today, this is a day of remembrance. This is a day to honor those who never returned.

For whatever reasons countries go to war, in any country, those enlisted do it for the love of their family and country.

Some go for their deep religious beliefs that God is sending them.

But today is not about that. Today we honor and remember that some people are willing to go the full course in protecting what they love.

Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)

Wherever we are in the world, we have strife. Sometimes at home and sometimes abroad.

Today, we give thanks and show our gratitude to those who went above and beyond to protect us.
