Nobody explains identity theft better than @Dana Mantillia

Dana is a master at bringing awareness to identity theft.

I put a link to her latest video in the comments. Please, WATCH IT!

Almost everyone I know has had a social media account hacked at some point.

Dana explains exactly how that happened and what you can do to prevent it.

I take time on LinkedIn to report fake profiles and unethical practices..

You've heard me talk about plagiarism on LinkedIn. That's when someone takes your content and reuses it as their own, without giving you credit.

Hackers are similar. They use your password to get into your accounts so that it looks like you.

If you use one password for everything, you are aiding the hacker to take over your other accounts.

That may not have been a great analogy but I'm pretty sure you get the point.

The point is these lowlifes are hacking into your accounts and stealing your content.

Furthermore, you may not care because you think your bad credit will deter identity thieves.

Thieves love your bad credit because they can use your information because they know you aren't paying attention.

Be diligent, AT ALL TIMES.

Your whole network is at risk. You could expose everyone you're connected to by being too lazy to create strong passwords.

Be part of the solution!

What is your preferred password manager?

I'll share mine. I use 1Password, https://1password.com
