The results of my post on passwords managers are in.
71% of the people who voted either had no password manager or didn't know what I was talking about.
That is a staggering statistic.
Millions of people get hacked into and have their identity stolen every year.
The biggest culprit is HUMAN ERROR.
This is especially dangerous in the workplace.
There are some great tools available to help you secure your private information, yet it seems most people are not using them.
When you leave your privacy and security up to chance, you also endanger your employees, business, contact list and your social media connections.
If you are using familiar numbers and words, such as birthdates, pet or children names, STOP!
You are providing hackers with easy access to your information.
The purpose of a password manager is that it provides an added layer of protection by using one very strong password.
All your other passwords are stored by that manager so the only password you must remember is the one for the manager.
Now, you can use strong passwords, different passwords for every website and service that requires one.
Here are a few of the password managers that were mentioned in the post:
@LastPass
@1Password
@keeper
@bitwarden
@dashlane
Protect yourself, family, your business and employees.
Be diligent with your information.
There's never been a better time than NOW to make sure you are protected.
I hope this helps!
