To all you content writers out there, have you had that day when nothing comes to mind to write about?

I know there are people who write their content well in advance. I've tried that but it doesn't always work for me.

My draft folder is full of post fragments and ideas, yet none of them are speaking to me today.

Sometimes it's like that in business as well.

You may have the best written plan there is but, being human, there will come that day when nothing feels right, nothing is going the way you planned.

That's OK!

This is the day I embrace not always having it together. I don't always have to have a topic on the tip of my fingers.

There is no need to beat myself up over it.

This is the day I will sit, take a deep breath, look over my plans and goals, and gain clarity.

I will spend some time on the content that I've already written, read and follow up with a few clients now that the holiday is over.

Today feels like Monday, and that's ok too. I am grateful for my calendar and my alarm so that I can set up the times I need to be present.

Everything else will fall into place. Some would say this is the time to "Let go and Let God".

Don't stress over everything you need to get done. Take a deep breath and do one thing, then another.

That's how my day will go. And, I'm pretty sure I will get more done today than I ever anticipated.

Do you ever draw a blank? How do you handle it?
