531 - Combining business, personal and a good cause

Today is a special day.

One year ago I met @Fred Diamond in person here in San Antonio.

Fred was traveling around the US, combining personal and business, taking the time to meet with people in his network.

Thanks to Fred, I also had the pleasure to meet two other connections who are here local but I had never met them.

Today, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FRED!

Fred is the kind of person I strive to be like. He has an award winning business, a wonderful family and is passionate about bringing awareness to a worthy cause.

There has never been a better time to learn about Lyme, as summer is when ticks abound. It's important to know the signs.

I had Lyme disease years ago. Luckily, I found the tick on me and quickly learned about the tell tale signs. I was on penicillin for 40 days. That's a long time to be on an antibiotic for anything.

Next month Fred's book on Lyme, "Love, Hope, Lyme: What Family Members, Partners, and Friends Who Love a Chronic Lyme Survivor Need to Know" will be published.
