We are told to use hashtags relevant to our post, our target audience and so forth.
LinkedIn makes it easy to search for the most effective hashtags.
In the search bar, type in # and the word you are looking for.
I often look for words pertaining to law. This is what it looks like the I search.
These are the number of followers for the specific words given.
# attorneys - 9,980
# attorney - 10,968
# lawyer - 56,466
# lawyers - 72,210
# law - 5,480,652
Those are significant differences in the number of Followers.
If you want to get more engagement on your posts, start searching for better hashtags that pertain to your post.

Using the right hashtags can save you time and help the right people find your content.
You may have a niche that you want specific people to become aware of. Don't hesitate to use that hashtag so those who are looking can find you.
Your # widget will have 26 followers. Make it plural and # widgets has 40 Followers.
There are significant differences between singular and plural forms of the words you are searching.
