We are often told to write things down. It helps you remember better.
When we have inspiring thoughts, new business ideas, or solutions to world problems, it helps to write them down.
🤯 However, as soon as I sit in front of a piece of paper, my mind goes blank.
This is the reason I don't journal, take a lot of notes, or think seriously about writing a book.
I have found that I am much more open to typing. When I sit at a keyboard the ideas and words will start to flow.
I only discovered this a little over a year ago.
Until then, I thought that writing is not the best method for me to verbalize my goals, thoughts, and desires.
There are a lot of experts on LinkedIn who can help us overcome the obstacles. For every expert, there are dozens of opposing views.
And THAT is the beauty of it all.
You can not pin every human being into one method of anything.
There are always exceptions.
This is why I don't believe in competition but in collaboration.
Amazon and Google, for example, are 2 massive companies, used by hundreds of millions.
Imagine if Jeff Bezos, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin had not worked on finding new ways. We would live in a very different world.
And yet, they still have "competitors" vying to take their place.
There is room for everyone.
If your mind goes blank in a certain area don't resign yourself to it.
Acknowledge it and find a way that does work.
Make your own way. Others will follow.
What causes your mind to go blank?
