I had an experience yesterday that, once again, solidified my belief in what I do.
One of my long-time clients, who has been with me for 12 years, had an unfortunate situation with a referral attorney.
Our provider attorneys at LegalShield are "Customer Care Trained", which sounds like an oxymoron.
It is a work in progress to get referral attorneys to adhere to the same standards and get trained.
This client was getting the help of a local attorney referred to her in her town.
At first, he responded quickly and gave her a discount on the services he was to perform. Instead of $1000 he charged her $500.
Attorneys are EXPENSIVE, even with a discount.
Then he did a little work before disappearing for 2 weeks. (He went on vacation)
Her situation could have been resolved in a matter of hours but it dragged on for a month
Sound familiar? This is the kind of experience we have all heard of with attorneys.
They are UNRESPONSIVE, right?
And, normally, there is no one to hold them ACCOUNTABLE. Agreed?
BUT WAIT!
This is where the pedal hits the metal with LegalShield.
My client called me, her trusted advisor, and a chain reaction was set in motion.
I contacted LegalShield to let them know what was happening.
LegalShield immediately contacted the provider law firm.
The law firm called said attorney and within 30 minutes of us getting off the phone with LegalShield, my client got an email from the referral attorney with an apology and saying a check was in the mail to reimburse her.
💥 SLAM DUNK!! LegalShield works!
✅ We hold our attorneys accountable and make sure they are responsive.
✅ And, we make things right.
It's a process. We've been working at it for 50 years.
My passion and belief in this company were renewed, as they are over and over.
I know that we make a difference.
❤️ I make a living while making a difference.
Do you make a difference?
