We only have so many hours in the day. 24 to be exact.
I am inspired today by 3 posts I read.
@John Knotts wrote about time management. He is what some people would call, a machine.
John is one of those people who have it down and he shared some great tips to fill our own schedules so we can have more time.
None of us will have more time, we will use the time we have better.
@Pat Whitty made a profound comment in his post, don't ruin a good question with an answer.
@Larry Reines wrote a thought-provoking post and one of his questions was, do you make meaning where there is none?
I considered the statement from Pat and the question from Larry. I thought about how much time we waste each day answering questions that need no answer and pondering the wrong things.
We often try to make meaning where there is none.
I hear people discussing fictional TV shows or movies they watched that have no meaning.
Does it matter if the vampire falls in love?
Will it change our lives if the alien wipes us out?
Will your life change if your favorite singer doesn't win?
REALLY?
There is so much content out there that adds little to no meaning to our lives and yet that's what people spend hours thinking about.
We will soon head into a true recession and many people will react with surprise and anger although it's been coming for years.
In the meantime, how much time do you waste?
