637 - Are you ready for the upcoming crisis?

I believe that the caliber of people I engage with on LinkedIn are not the average people who fear change.

If you don't change and everything around you has already changed, guess who sticks out?

This reminds me of the first time I went into a sauna in Switzerland with some German friends.

The 3 couples I was with, insisted that I go with them to the sauna. I resisted because I knew this meant removing all my clothing!! 😱

Germans have a much healthier attitude toward the human body than Americans. They are not prudish.

I was terrified as I stood there while everyone else was undressing. I realized that if I didn't undress immediately, I would soon be the only person standing who was fully clothed. That would bring attention to me.

I took a deep breath, got undressed, and joined the others in the sauna, The rest was quite an enjoyable experience.

It was miserably hot, then we plunged into a freezing (48°F) pool. After that we retreated to a patio where we lounged as the steam rose off of our bodies. It was about 15° F outside but it didn't feel like it.

It was memorable...

Now, economists have already told us that the economy is going to take a big downturn in Spring 2023.

The crisis is coming, they say.

Some people will react as I first did in the sauna. They will stiffen with fear and deny anything is happening.

When it does, they will blame the current administration, because that's what the masses do, whether it's true or not.

Some businesses will fail completely.

Others are preparing now for what is to come. Will you be ready?

There will be incredible opportunities but the media will focus heavily on the failures, the pain, and the suffering.

Will you freeze in place like a deer in headlights or will you rise and be ready?
