It was a good dream, possibly brought on by all the incredible food I ate yesterday.
Have you ever had a dream that a business transaction bigger than anything you have ever experienced fell into your lap?
In the dream you met an ideal client...you know...a BIG ONE.
They approached you wanting to give you a large contract. No one else would do.
In my dream, the CEO of a large company wanted me to present my services to his 5000+ employees, as a fringe benefit. He did the math and correctly deduced that it would actually save the company money.
Better still, in my dream, I was 5"9", weighed 130 lbs, and was drop-dead gorgeous... (these details were no doubt meant to remind me this was a dream)
As I said, it was a good dream!
I thought, What Just Happened?
Without hesitation, I jumped into action to provide the best service to this company, just as I do with every company I work with.
I set up educational sessions, to help the employees understand the scope of the services. I saw myself being acknowledged for my presentation skills and thoroughness.
What meaning did I glean from this?
Those who study dreams will have their own interpretation.
I understood it to mean that I must always be prepared to go above and beyond; whether it's one client or five thousand. It reminded me that I am prepared but can still go the extra mile.
Imagine that 5 minutes after you read this post you receive an offer you had never thought possible.
Your first thought might be, What Just Happened?
Would you panic or would you zero in and be completely focused on what needs to be done?
Are you prepared for unexpected success?
