Everyone is feeling refreshed and energized from this wonderfully long holiday weekend.
I really don't want to be the Debbie Downer of LinkedIn...but...
We have now entered the absolute highest identity theft time of year.
Is everyone you know mindful when they are shopping online?
There are scams of all sorts, leaving those of us who try to protect people with one message, please use your head!
❌ DO NOT CLICK on any link no matter how sure you are that it is from a company where you placed an order.
❌ Do not fall for the texts and emails that want you to click to see that the delivery of your packages has occurred.
✅ TAKE PRECAUTIONS WHEN SHOPPING ONLINE and in stores.
✅ GO DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANY WEBSITE TO TRACK ORDERS.
✅ Taking a few extra steps to ensure your privacy could save you many hours of headaches and a lot of money.
✅ Help everyone you know who is young or elderly to ensure they are not clicking on potentially dangerous messages.
Remind everyone you know to be diligent.
